Meet the owner, Samara Ingram…

My name is Samara Mercie Lee Ingram. I was born and raised in Gary, IN. I’ve been a full time hairstylist since 2014. I started doing hair at 12 years old and I’ve been perfecting my craft ever since. My mother was also hairstylist. She passed away in 1992, when I was only 1 year old. When I became old enough to learn about her life, my goal was to continue her legacy.

My experiences growing up cultivated my compassion & empathy for others. My dad instilled an entrepreneurial mindset in me as a kid. My values and talent, combined with the love I have for people, has gotten me to where I am today.

I’m the owner of a beautiful hair salon here in Portage, IN. I’m grateful to have the space to not only offer quality service, but to share my personal aesthetic with the community. I think people deserve the best experiences, I try my best to reflect that.

Outside of my work life, I keep things simple. I enjoy spending time with my sisters and, my nieces & nephews. I also love discovering hidden gems in art, food, music & culture. Most importantly, I’m committed to following Yahweh, my faith is my first priority. Without faith, none of this is possible. Nevertheless, I’m thankful for my life, and all of my family, friends & clients!
